As the sun goes down, deep maroon buds open into a profusion of innocent-looking white pinwheel flowers, releasing a rich, dessert-like fragrance often compared to warm cake fresh from the oven.
Growing about 12" tall and wide, Night Phlox is especially wonderful in containers, where it can be kept close to patios, porches, entryways, or bedroom windows for maximum after-dark enjoyment. It blooms over a long period, adding charm, scent, and a little nighttime magic to sunny gardens and small spaces.
