Reliably perennial and wonderfully floriferous, ‘Etain’ Viola blooms heavily from spring through fall across much of the country, and nearly year-round in mild coastal California. Growing about 10" tall and 12" wide, it is perfect for the front of borders, shady pathways, woodland gardens, containers, and small bouquets where its sweet fragrance can be enjoyed up close.
Plant Viola ‘Etain’ in partial shade to full shade with rich, well-drained soil and even moisture. In cool-summer or coastal gardens, it can tolerate a bit more sun.
