Verbascum chaixii ‘Wedding Candles’ rises a glorious 4–5' tall with branching spires of pristine white flowers, each bloom dressed up with fuzzy purple stamens and bright orange anthers. The effect is elegant, airy, and just a little bridal — like garden candles lit for a very fancy wildflower wedding.
Easy, fast, drought-tolerant, and deer-resistant, ‘Wedding Candles’ Verbascum brings long-lasting vertical drama to sunny borders, cottage gardens, dry gardens, and pollinator-friendly plantings. Cut back spent spikes and it can bloom continuously from spring through fall, sending up fresh flower wands again and again.
