Alonsoa meridionalis - Apricot Mask Flower

This fabulous flashy Chilean native is a must-have in our opinion. Held on countless freely branching upright stems to 3' tall, hundreds of soft apricot blooms keep coming for months - we're talking major bang-for-the-buck here! Cut back to 6" when she's finally all bloomed out, ply with a little compost and you'll get a second burst of bloom. By the coast in Sunset zones 16 and 17 it will go into full bloom and look spectacular all Winter too! "Mask Flower" likes rich soil and looks great mid-border and in mixed containers too.
