Eschscholzia californica - White Linen
‘White Linen’ is a beautifully ethereal California Poppy, with soft creamy-white blooms that seem to hover above its fine blue-green foliage like little scraps of silk caught in the light. We adore the way its elegant flowers lend a pale, airy shimmer to wildflower plantings and cottage gardens, softening everything around them without losing that wonderfully easy California charm. The satiny blooms open wide in full sunshine, then gently fold themselves closed toward evening, so the display is always shifting a little with the day. Like all California Poppies, it thrives in lean-to-average soil and prefers dry conditions once established. An easy annual that may self-sow and return in friendly spots. Grows about 12" to 14" tall and wide. Deer resistant and pollinator friendly.
